So if you are a follower on IG or ETSY you may have seen the adorable camera throw pillows I added to the shop a few weeks back.  Well we now have the most colorful adorable bedding set to match.  I absolutely love how the fabric looks and I’m even considering this set for my daughters room!

Remember as with all of our sets …..they are pictured here in Twin and Queen size but we also have on ETSY each set available in Crib & Toddler size and if requested…King Size as well!

Now Introducing….

Nursery and Kids ROOM DECOR!

I am so freaking excited to introduce to you just a few of the many new items I have been working on.  For awhile I’ve been thinking of having my own textiles line for kids and babies including bedding, shower curtains, pillows & rugs…..but I’ve just too many other things going on.

Now I’ve finally been able to squeeze in my first few designs and I’m super happy to share them with you!  Here are just a few of the first beddings sets I listed on ETSY. ….

These are all available as a full crib set, Toddler, Twin, and Queen.  Now also keep in mind there are a few ETSY vendors out there doing bedding sets for slightly less money than mine but if you check out the details …….my bedding sets also include the fitted sheet in the pic whereas theirs do not come with a sheet at all.  If you like a set but wish to exclude the sheet I can do that as well!

Now once you have your little ones bedding set up…..no room is complete without a coordinating accent rug…..

and throw pillows…….

Throw Pillows are made from a textured twill material and are available as just the pillow cover or as the pillow cover and insert.  You also have multiple size options including 16″x16″, 18″x18″, 20″x20″ and 24″x24″

New Wall Art – Little Girl Room Insiprations & a FREE Printable

Sup peeps! I know I am THE worst blogger EVER but I’ve been super busy lately with the ETSY shop just trying to keep up with orders and worrying about back-to-school stuff for my own kids.

Life is hectic to say the least.  I’ve also been in sort of a creative funk when it comes to new designs in the shop…..but I think I’ve finally gotten my creative juices flowing again and at the moment I’m so obsessed with WALL ART for kids!

I’ve been planning on giving Sofia a room makeover this fall and as I’ve been scouring the Web…well mostly Pinterest….it got me thinking about the wall art I have in the shop currently as well as some new ideas.

At first i was going to go for the shabby chic look but I really am leaning more towards a trendy look and since shes now has her own ideas i think that might be a better way to go because let’s face it …..an almost 8 yr old will probably not like mom’s idea of a JANE AUSTEN inspired room …HA! HA! HA!

We decided to keep her walls bright white for that clean look and add in lots of bright pops of color so here are some of the prints I created which are also available for purchase on ETSY!

 

The Frida Kahlo one is definitely my favorite creation this far.  It’s bright and colorful and has a great insiprational message.  On top of that it took me 5 hours to draw her so I’m very proud of this latest creation!

This sweet room by AlwaysME_Baby on IG featuring prints from GingerMonkey & SilentLittleWhispers is exactly what I have in mind! So Sweet!

Last but not least is this pretty pastel watercolor print I literally made like 5 minutes ago because Im so in love with Hillsong’s Touch the Sky! I cant sell this (even thought many people do on ETSY) because the lyrics are copyrighted…..so here it is for free download and print.  Please DO NOT sell this as your own work …..it is for personal use only.  This is going to e one of the main pieces in my Daughters room 🙂  Click the links below for the size you want to download  then right click and SAVE 🙂

Happy Monday ladies! Over the weekend temps were in the upper 90’s here in Atlanta and it was miserable! Strawberry Cream Cake – RECIPE

Hey ladies! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I sure did especially because I was off work for a whole 2 weeks! WOOT WOOT! Unfortunately during my vacation our house got hit by lightning! That’s a whole other post though.  Most important…..No one was hurt and our house didn’t burn down ….PRAISE GOD.

Today I just wanted to share my family’s favorite cake recipe that I make all the time and just so happened to make for the holiday weekend.

Im sure you have heard that you can make boxed cake mix taste just like a bakery cake……Well this recipe does just that and its so easy!

Ingredients:

1 Box Duncan Hines Strawberry Cake Mix
3 Eggs
1/4 Cup Oil
1 Cup Silk Unsweetened Coconut Milk (instead of water)
1 Box Dry JELLO Pudding Mix – Cheesecake Flavor
1 Package Softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese or use Sour Cream if you dont have Cream Cheese
1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
1/2 sweetened shredded Coconut
1 Cup Fresh Chopped Strawberries

Preheat your oven to 325 Degrees.

Mix all of your dry and wet ingredients above until batter is smooth. I use an electric hand mixer because its so fast and gets the batter super smooth! Then after mixing, fold in the fresh strawberries.

Bake according to package directions. I bake this at 325 and after about 35 minutes it’s usually done. Whenever a toothpick or fork comes out clean you know your cake is finished.

I bake mine in 2 layers with a layer of strawberries and frosting in the middle but you can do it however you want. I also just get storebought frosting but you can make your own buttercream. The real magic is in the cake itself so thats the key!

Seriously your family will love this cake! ENJOY!
